Rachel [Boss Woman] Gemmell - Managing Director
Affectionately known as El Presidente, Rachel is the head honcho around here and the brains behind the ever growing Food Nation Empire. Having worked basically every position there is in the food industry culminating in over 20 years of experience Rachel knows just a little bit about food, and can sincerely relate to everyone’s point of view. Rachel takes no prisoners and her steadfast belief in karma means that you’ll never get anything but the plain honest truth from anyone here at Food Nation. We wouldn’t dare play it any other way. She’s pretty cheeky and forthright – but ABSOLUTLEY dedicated to customer service and chances are you’ll get a good value giggle one way or the other.

Stephen [Babe] Best - Finance Manager
Stephen is so laid back it really is hilarious that he’s our finance dude. Between the t-shirts and converses and the sometimes vague, yet mischievous 'tude: a dude he is. He has had a lot of experience in all aspects of the industry but has graciously accepted the challenge of debt, tax and payroll. Joy. None of us help him at all. It’s not very nice – as he’s constantly helping us with customer service, phone sales, getting stuff from Office Works, unpacking and packing, getting our lunch, dropping off emergency deliveries... It’s just his job really is quite crap – and we’re very glad he’s so good at it and complaining isn’t part of his nature. Yay for Stephen.

Sasha [Bubbles-had-her-baby!] Pedler - Sales Account Manager
She's back and boy was she MISSED! Her divine little man Jett Norton Pedler arrived at 8:30pm on Wednesday 15 April after 16 hours of contractions. ALL 8 POUNDS AND 10 OUNCES OF HIM. Ouchies (!) She seems to be handling all the changes and pressures in her stride – but that is the way of our Sash-wah. The ultimate in can do/ will do/ no worries/ I’ll handle it/ easy-peasy/ problem solve-d/ I’ve done it already attitude. There’s no way you won’t adore her.

Erin [Not-So-New-But-Still-Our-Most-Recent-Addition] Dockrey - Sales
Well, she’s in, made her mark and she's here to stay. It seems everyone agrees - Erin is delightful, knowledgeable - perhaps a little bit cheeky and cares very deeply for her customers and their sales. If you’ve worked in the Adelaide food service industry in the last 10 years – you’ll probably already know her. She’s been around (in the most professional way of course) and she's got all the gear and a lot of ideas.

Cassie [Cash-Wah] Gleeson - Operations & Dispatch
Cassie is the Queen of cool. No one has every seen the slightest crack – and there's A LOT to crack about in the warehouse. Fiercely competitive she always plays to the 100% game and is devastated with a result of anything less. With a grillion years experience in every aspect of business, management, stock control and marketing it’s quite incredible that’s she’s not just energetic and efficient but still generous and engaging. Though having a full time job, two young children, a full time working husband, going to the gym, playing competitive sport, and being crafty in all of those making amazing birthday cakes/ meals/ clothes/ gardening/ interior decoration etc ways – She's clearly a FREAK. And we love her.

David Ferguson [Da-Vidi] - Dispatch and Delivery
David has been clocking up the kilometres for Food Nation since the company was still in nappies. He is also a very experienced industry stalwart, but has decided that his real work love is TRUCKS and DRIVING. David ensures all Food Nation’s premium gourmet goods arrive at their destination unharmed and looking as perfect as when they were packed. Not only that, but he is always the loveliest, most friendly man, which is no mean feat when you're lugging and parking all through the year in all weather.

Sam [Samular] Harris – Warehouse Slave/All Round Good Guy
He's got spiky hair but not the personality to match; Sam is indispensible within the Food Nation team with his can do, no-complaining policy. A deceptively clever smarty pants, he works all the girls with charm and finesse and somehow manages to work the warehouse in a similar manner, all the time. This technique clearly extends to his mother too – the evidence of which is an expansive packed lunch EVERY DAY.
